Welcome to the official website of Jim Kollath! |
8/17/10 - This past Friday the 41 modified picked up a Dash for Cash win and the blue stock car won a heat. Doesn't get much better than that! 6/16/10 - Just added a few new pictures courtesy of Tom Willavize last Friday night at Hartford on our way to a top 5 finish. 6/13/10 - A little while since the last update. Let's see - in the last month we visited Thunderbird Raceway with the mod for the first time and had a great time. Nice track to race at! After that we had a week off, then came back to Hartford to pick up a 3rd place finish and then this past Friday starting 10th I ended up in 5th. Very fun to run decent. The new engine is running great (knock on wood) and the gremlins have left my car alone so far (another knock on wood). Fireworks night and bicycle night are coming up at Hartford - be sure to check the schedule! 5/6/10 - Opening night at Hartford last night brought us a rare dry track in April. The modified was tight in hot laps and the heat race, but through the continued tuning of Ryan @ Smart Chassis the feature had it driveable and I finished 9th. Part of this was a poor gear choice on my part, but would rather be conservative with the new engine. Not to be outdone, my Dad finished 4th in his first ever stock car race! Both cars finished the night with no damage so that was another bonus. This Friday is Modpalooza III - see you at the races! 1/24/10 - Welcome to my new and updated website by Spi-Nex aka Jon Huston. Bare with us as we work out the bugs! Even though it's the winter a lot is still being accomplished on the cars. The red modified has an all new body and some suspension and safety updates thanks to Ryan @ Smart Racing Chassis. Tom Willavize is hard at work concepting a new graphics scheme. A new engine is almost complete and will be ready for opening night. The white modified has been a work in progress and will be ready to go as the backup car for opening night. The blue stock car is sitting in the corner with a fresh coat of paint on it's wheels ready to turn some laps. Check back throughout the season for frequent updates! |
